Crypto Queen Scam
After winning over the trust of investors, the Crypto Queen then defrauded her victims by stealing their funds, and so far four victims have come forward to report stolen money.
The flashy influencer, who called herself “Bitmama” on social media, pretended to be an established cryptocurrency expert with offices in Dubai, Monaco, Moscow, Serbia, and Turkey. She convinced victims to trust her with their millions of dollars.
State news agency TASS reported that the Russian Investigative Committee (RIC) has completed investigations on the case, stating that police deceived her victims by convincing them to transfer their money to a crypto account in Dubai to avoid banking restrictions.
According to the victims, they were promised a 1% bonus on the cash they transferred once it was converted to cryptocurrency.
