BloFin launched Unified Trading Account (UTA) model and became one of just four exchanges worldwide to implement a full UTA, offering you a unified account for both spot and futures trading, including support for multi-currency collateral and automatic PnL netting.
BloFin’s UTA includes several operating modes — namely Spot, Spot & Futures, and Multi-Currency — aimed at improving capital efficiency, risk control, and overall trading experience. In addition, BloFin’s UTA is available in Demo Trading mode, allowing you to explore its functionality risk-free.
Architecture of the BloFin Unified Trading Account
Let’s take a closer look at the core modes available under the BloFin Unified Trading Account system.
Spot Trading Mode. This is the basic mode designed for users who prefer spot trading only, without leverage. To ensure clarity and safety, features such as futures, copy trading, trading bots, and bonuses are disabled by default in this mode.
Spot & Futures Trading Mode. This is the default mode when you enable BloFin UTA, allowing access to both futures and spot trading, as well as copy trading, trading bots, bonuses, and vouchers. It also supports margin consolidation for assets with the same settlement currency, and PnL (Profit and Loss) is automatically netted across assets.
Multi-Currency Margin Mode. Available to accounts with a balance of at least 10,000 USDT, this mode allows you to use multiple currencies as a margin for perpetual contracts. Margin is calculated in USD, and liabilities or liquidations can also apply to spot assets. Risks and collateral are shared across all holdings, regardless of settlement currency.
