Multi-billionaire and one of the most influential advisors of President Trump, Elon Musk appeared as a speaker during today’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), outside of Washington D.C.
The wood-cutting tool was gifted by Argentina’s President Javier Milei, who was previously speaking at the conference.

The Tesla CEO appeared excited about the gift. As soon as Musk got his hands on the tool, he started waving it around while screaming “This is the chainsaw for bureaucracy”.
During the CPAC event, Elon Musk publicly criticized the previous administration. Particularly, the South African billionaire emphasized the alleged facilitation of granting foreigners a 2-year work permit, which in his view was done to get more Democratic support in Swing states.
He referenced it as a “real scam at scale to tilt the scales of democracy in America”, later calling the act “treason”.
As head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk has been working towards easing the U.S. debt. Despite some of the cuts being the target of criticism, DOGE has saved around $55 billion from the overall federal budget spending.
