They announced the launch of their core network, ERC20 token $SYNT, and a bridge to the Cosmos. This should significantly contribute to aligning and connecting the blockchain landscape to provide a seamless and secure data flow between networks in real time.
The Technical Side
The core of Synternet is the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol, which is supposed to enable scalable and secure inter-chain data communication.
The Cosmos SDK allows the creation of specialized blockchains, or so-called app chains, which will allow Synternet to create the applications necessary for smooth operation and functionality expansion.
CometBFT provides a secure consensus mechanism, and CosmWasm enables the deployment of complex smart contracts for decentralized applications that work with real-time data.
All of this promises to be a strong technological step toward bridging the gap between networks and, perhaps in the more distant future, contributing to the standardization and unification of cross-chain data exchange.
It has practical value far beyond crypto and DeFi, but also for improving the operation of all areas benefiting from blockchain adoption.
If such technological solutions are efficient – decentralized, and intelligent applications and systems for the Internet of Things, smart cities and transportation could perhaps become more widespread.
